The Guntur district Police have made elaborate security arrangements in view of the high-profile visits by Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday (August 2, 2025.)
District Superintendent of Police (DSP) Satish Kumar informed that the Governor will be attending a graduation ceremony at Vignan University under the Chebrolu Police Station limits, while the Chief Minister is scheduled to attend a public event in the Mangalagiri rural police station limits. Considering the VVIP movements, a robust security deployment has been made across all key locations.

According to SP Satish Kumar, police personnel and officers have been assigned in sufficient numbers. Detailed security inspections are being carried out with the support of the district security wing at the venues, stages, and all travel routes.
The SP also issued clear instructions, which include, public entering the event premises must undergo thorough security checks. All police officers and staff must remain vigilant at their designated duties. Coordination among all departments is crucial for smooth execution. The Guntur Police Department affirmed its commitment to ensuring peaceful and orderly conduct of the VVIP programmes.
