Mahindra Vision S Concept Unveiled

Mahindra & Mahindra celebrated Independence Day with the unveiling of the four all-new Vision SUV concepts along with a brand-new NU.IQ modular platform. The Mahindra Vision SUVs including the Vision T, Vision X, Vision S and Vision SXT. Painted in bring Yellow colour scheme, the Mahindra Vision S concept looks quite rugged and off-road ready. Its production model is likely to belong from the Mahindra Scorpio family.

Upfront, the Mahindra Vision S concept features a black grille with Twin Peaks logon in the centre and triplets of vertically-stacked LEDs on either side. The inverted L-shaped LED headlamps, massive black bumper with a radar unit and parking sensors, the pixel-shaped fog lamps and a raised bonnet enhance its muscular appearance.

The concept SUV has roof-mounted lights, which might not make it to the production. The high ground clearance, pronounced wheel arches, 19-inch tyres and star-shaped wheels, thick cladding under the doors and red callipers and disc brakes add more to its sporty character. It also features a jerry can on the right and a roof ladder on the kerb side.

Mahindra Vision T & NU.IQ Platform Debut

The homegrown automaker has also unveiled the Vision T SUV conceptwhich is expected to join the Thar family. It appears a more evolved version of the Thar.e concept, which was showcased in 2023. Mahidnra’s all-new NU.IQ platform also made its global debut with the Vision SUV concepts. The first production-ready SUV built on the new architecture will hit roads sometime in 2027.

Recently, Mahindra has also introduced the world’s first Batman edition SUV, designed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Called the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Editionthe model is being offered at Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Its bookings are slated to begin on August 23, and delivers will start in September. This limited-run edition will have only 300 units available for buyers in India.
