Popular TV anchor and actress Udaya Bhanu has been in the news lately for her bold and controversial statements. She alleged that some of her fellow television hosts have deliberately spread rumors about her and even tried to suppress her career opportunities.
While promoting her new film “Tribanadhari Barbarik,” in which she plays a key role, Udaya Bhanu further revealed that she had been cheated and duped by several TV producers. According to her, she earned more income from attending and hosting events than from television anchoring itself.
She added that she still has a large number of bounced cheques at home, evidence of how frequently she was denied proper payments. Despite these struggles, she said it was her sheer hard work that helped her survive in the industry.
