Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud on Saturday assured unorganised workers that their issues would be taken up with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy soon and promised to organise a dedicated meeting with him soon to address their long-pending grievances.
Addressing the All India Unorganised Workers and Employees wing meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, he said the party is committed to the welfare of informal labourers who continue to remain the most neglected and underpaid section of the workforce.
He said that Rahul Gandhi had always stood for workers across the country, particularly those in the unorganised sector. “You all work hard and struggle without proper recognition. Be assured, CM Revanth Reddy will acknowledge your contribution and sincerely work to find solutions to your problems,” he stated.
He added that the party would soon facilitate a direct interaction between the Chief Minister and unorganised workers to chart a roadmap for improving their living and working conditions.
National Chairman of Unorganised Workers & Employees Congress (KKC) Udit Raj participated in the meeting and reiterated the Congress’s commitment to uplift the informal workforce.
