Amid raising competition, Tata Motors is offering massive discounts on select models in August, 2025. What comes as a surprise is that the 2025 Tata Altroz facelift is now available with a discount of Rs 1 lakh within just 90 days after its launch. The hatchback model lineup is currently comes in 22 variants, priced between Rs 6.89 lakh – Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). However, it’s important to note that discount amount varies depending on the variant.

Sales Performance:
A total of 3,905 units of the new Tata Altroz were sold in July 2025 compared to 12,503 units of the Maruti Baleno and 3,396 units of the Hyundai i20. Over the past six month, Tata Motors managed to sell 16,092 units of the Altroz, while its rivals Baleno and i20 registered total sales of 74,104 units and 22,875 units, respectively.

The 2025 Tata Altroz comes with two engine options – an 88bhp, 1.2L petrol and a 74bhp, 1.2L CNG. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, an AMT and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic. The performance-focused Altroz Racer uses a 120bhp, 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine.
The Altroz’s arch rivals – Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20 are available with 90bhp, 1.2L Dualjet K12N petrol engine, and 83bhp, 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, 120bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol and 100bhp, 1.5L diesel engine options, respectively.
Key Features:
With the midlife update in May 2025, the Tata Altroz receives several new features include an 10.25-inch all digital instrument cluster with blind spot monitoring and navigation displays, a two-spoke steering wheel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Tata’s in-car connectivity tec, a sunroof, AC vents, a USB charger at the rear, an 8-speaker Harman audio system, a 360-degree camera, height adjustable seatbelt, six airbags and more.
