Kovur MLA Prashanthi Reddy is once again in the news, this time for a disturbing reason. After recently complaining against YSRCP leader Nallapureddy Prasannakumar Reddy for indecent remarks, she has now received a shocking threat.
A handwritten letter demanding Rs 2 crore was delivered to her residence in Nellore. The letter warned of serious harm to her life if the amount was not paid. Her security staff found the letter and immediately alerted her, following which the police were informed.
Police officials reached the spot and began questioning the security personnel. CCTV footage from the area is being checked to trace the masked man who handed over the letter before fleeing the scene on August 17.
In SP confirmed that a covert investigation is underway. Early suspicion points towards a man from Isukapalem in Alluri district, and officials said more details will be revealed soon as the probe continues.
