Warangal MP Inspires Students On National Space Day


WARANGAL: Space opens new avenues for humanity’s future. By nurturing curiosity, asking questions, and pursuing studies with discipline, students can become the scientists, researchers, and astronauts of tomorrow, said Warangal MP Kadiyam Kavya.

The MP, accompanied by school orincipal Poornima, attended as the chief guest at the National Space Day Celebrations held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mamnoor, Hanamkonda district, on Saturday.

After inspecting various student projects, Kavya praised their creativity and innovation, stressing that such initiatives are vital for fostering scientific thinking and contributing to the nation’s growth.

Speaking on the occasion, the MP highlighted India’s remarkable journey in space exploration. She recalled the historic achievements of Indian astronauts, including the country’s first astronaut Rakesh Sharma, and the recent success of Shubanshu Shukla. She also lauded the contributions of Sunita Williams, an astronaut of Indian origin.

Kavya underscored the importance of India’s space programme, citing milestones such as the establishment of the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro), successful satellite launches, and the accomplishments of the Chandrayaan missions.

She described these achievements as a source of national pride and a testament to India’s progress in science and technology. She urged students to draw inspiration from India’s space legacy and contribute to advancing it for the nation’s future.
