Just got back from a Delhi-Jaipur road trip in the Kia Carnival, and I have to say, it was an absolute revelation! I wanted to share my experience because this car completely shattered some of my pre-conceived notions.
The smoothest drive ever
That’s the only way to describe it. We were a group of six, and the best part? The folks in the last row didn’t have a single complaint. This is a big deal, especially coming from someone who has been on similar trips in another 7-seater where the last row is usually the designated “punishment seat.”
The real test came on the Delhi-Mumbai expressway. We were cruising at a solid 120 km/h, and it felt like we were floating on a cushion of air. I swear, not a single bump was felt. It truly felt like I was driving while sitting on a recliner. The ride quality is simply a class apart.
Before we decided on the Carnival, there was a lot of apprehension, especially about its size and how it would handle city traffic. But even on the busy, narrow roads of Jaipur, the Carnival was surprisingly manageable. It’s not a small car, but the visibility and the way it handles make it feel much more agile than its size would suggest.
This trip has made me a complete convert. The Carnival isn’t just a people-mover; it’s a genuine luxury lounge on wheels that makes even the most mundane journey an extremely comfortable experience.
