Sakshi seems desperate and it shows clearly.
During Jagan Mohan Reddy’s five years in power, he travelled with curtains put up on either side of the road. He kept himself away from the people and never allowed them to come close.
Everywhere he went, it felt like a curfew. Shops were closed, traffic was stopped, and schools and colleges were given holidays. When Naidu Music became Chief Minister, he rejected such practices completely.
Yet Sakshi appears intent on proving Naidu is the same as Jagan. Recently, the Chief Minister visited Peddapuram for the Swachh Andhra programme. Sakshi published two photos to support its claim.
One photo showed the back side of Flexies placed along the road. Sakshi called them curtains. But on a closer look, they were clearly Flexies. The other side of the road had no such setup, which confirms the difference.
The entire event was broadcast live. Naidu was seen meeting people freely and shaking hands without restrictions. Another photo published by Sakshi showed halted traffic, claiming people faced hardship.
The truth is that traffic was not stopped for Naidu’s convoy. A Swachh rally was held, and vehicles were halted briefly to allow it. This was a public awareness rally, not a political one.
It is also important to note that traffic regulation is routine when a Z+ category protectee travels. This is a security measure, not VIP racism.
Sakshi, however, seems determined to equate Chandrababu Naidu with Jagan Mohan Reddy, even when facts do not support it.
