Hyderabad: Union MoS for Home Affairs and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay on Monday alleged that the Telangana Congress has shamelessly mocked Hindu sentiments by portraying Lord Ram as a member of the BJP. He questioned what more could be expected from a party that, he claimed, denies the existence of God. He recalled that in 2007, during the Ram Setu case, the Congress govt filed an affidavit in court stating that “Ram does not exist, and neither does the Ramayana.”Bandi Sanjay responded on social media to TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar’s allegations that there are fake votes in Telangana and that BJP secured eight parliamentary seats using these votes. “For decades, Congress kept the doors of the Ram temple locked, while it was BJP govt that opened them,” Sanjay said.
