Importance of cybersecurity stressed at IIITDM in Kurnool

Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP) Kurnool Commandant Deepika Patil addressed a gathering of students as part of the induction programme for newly-admitted first-year students at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), in Kurnool.

In her interactive session, Ms. Deepika Patil emphasised the importance of cybersecurity awareness, cautioning students on the risks related to loan apps and online frauds. She also spoke on women’s safety, career development pathways, and shared valuable insights on preparing for UPSC examination.

Ms Deepika Patil clarified students’ queries related to competitive examinations and career opportunities, motivating them to stay focused, disciplined, and future-ready. Her guidance was well received, inspiring the young students to approach their academic journey with clarity and confidence, a release by the IIITDM said.
