Communist Party of India (CPI) National Secretary K. Narayana demanded that former Chief Minister and TRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) immediately resign from his position as MLA.
He strongly criticised Mr. Chandrashekar Rao for skipping the ongoing Assembly sessions, despite crucial discussions taking place. He said it was not fair for the Leader of Opposition not to participate when key Bills on 42% reservations for BCs and the judicial commission report on Kaleshwaram project were being discussed, and termed it as irresponsibility.
He congratulated Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for introducing the reservations and said the CPI extends full support to the government on enhancing the reservations.
