GHMC hosts second edition of Indie Puppy adoption drive at KBR park in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The second edition of the Indie Puppy adoption will be held by the GHMC at Kasu Brahmananda Reddy (KBR) National Park, Banjara Hills on August 31, between 7 am and 10 am.

The GHMC in a press release said these puppies were healthy, vaccinated, and dewormed and are ready to shower their future families with unconditional love. Adoption is absolutely free.

GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan urged citizens to join the cause and be heroes to these little lives. “When you adopt, you’re not just saving a life—you’re gaining a lifelong friend,” said Karnan.

The drive aims to find loving homes for stray puppies in the city and will be conducted at various locations, where individuals can visit and adopt puppies.

GHMC hopes this drive will encourage more people to adopt rather than buy pets, thereby helping reduce the stray dog population in the city.
