My efforts to acquire and restore it didn’t prove to be fruitful due to chronic rust causing it to break into two. However, the idea of having lost that chronicled car despite finding it nearly 3 decades later was bothering me. That is when I came across an Instagram page called “Street Candy Miniature”. They are based in Kerala and specialise in modifying the Centy toys 1:32 Ambassador as per your order. Immediately asked them to make a replica of my beloved ASK 8. After a long wait, I finally have it. Presenting the reincarnation of ASK 8 in scale model form: The real ‘ASK 8’ that I sadly could not save: With the other Centy Ambys: The lovely 1:18 Vahanam Ambasssdor Mark-II: ASK 8 happens to be my 7th Amby.
