Hyderabad: A 37-year-old woman was murdered by unidentified persons in Dammaiguda on Thursday night.According to Jawaharnagar police, the victim, identified as Manemma of Jamiguda, worked as a domestic help. She had gone to a local toddy compound on Thursday evening and was last seen around 6 pm. Later, locals spotted her body in an open area near Saket. Police said there were injuries on her body and suspect that a man who befriended her at the toddy shop may have killed her. Preliminary findings suggest she was attacked with a stone on the head. Manemma, a widow, is survived by two daughters and a son. Police deployed sniffer dogs and the Clues team at the scene to gather evidence. A case of murder has been registered, and the body was shifted for post-mortem examination.
