Impressed by my Triumph Tiger 900 GT in the rain: New & upcoming mods BHPian parrys recently shared this with other enthusiasts: A wet Friday evening, spent some 30 odd kms fully drenched. The reason to step out – accessories fitment. What’s on the bike so far?Kriega Fork Seal CoversLower Engine GuardsSump GuardMain StandComing soon:QuickshifterFrame SliderFork & Swingarm Sliders (Not Sure)Speedometer Screen Scratch GuardToday, I was riding through torrential rain. I was astonished by the amazing body balance of the Tiger. Slow crawls, and I barely needed to get my feet down. Phenomenal crawling abilities. Torque low down is mega impressive. 6th gear under 60 kmph, absolutely no complaints from the motor at all. Weight is not felt at all, even when putting the bike on the main stand. Makes my INT 650 feel heavier. Planning to go for a LONG ride this Sunday. As a kid, I once pressed the horn button on a young man’s motorcycle (TVS Victor). He turned to me and said, “Stay within your limits.” I shouldn’t have touched his bike. Even I would not like it now, I get it. But the words stung, and they stayed with me for decades. But today, I hope that little boy in me is proud. Watching me ride around town with this whistling triple! Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
