Mercedes-Benz has revised the prices of the E-Class LWB just days after the government announced GST rate rationalization. Prices for the premium sedan now start at Rs 78.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mercedes E-Class LWB is available in three variants. The prices of the E200 and E220d variants have been revised by Rs 4.5 lakh, while the E450 AMG Line gets a price cut of Rs 5.2 lakh. The E200 is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 201 BHP and 320 Nm. The E220d uses a 2.0-litre diesel that puts out 194 BHP and 440 Nm. The E450 has a more potent 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that makes 375 BHP and 500 Nm, which is sent to all four wheels via Mercedes’ 4Matic all-wheel drive system. All engines are paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system and a 9-speed automatic transmission. Mercedes has also announced the introduction of a new exterior colour option to commemorate the first anniversary of the new E-Class LWB.
