Hydraa receives 36 complaints on public space encroachments

At its Praja Vani session in Hyderabad, Hydraa received 36 complaints, mostly about encroachments of public spaces. Citizens raised concerns over misuse of parks, sewage entering lakes and homes, and illegal constructions on sewerage and drainage channels

Hyderabad: Complaints regarding encroachment of public spaces were raised at the Praja Vani programme organised by the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (Hydraa) at Buddha Bhavan on Monday.

A total of 36 complaints concerning the encroachment of public spaces were registered during the session. The grievances included park areas being used arbitrarily, sewage water entering lakes and flooding homes, and illegal constructions on sewerage and drainage channels, among other issues.
