Four persons, including a three-year-old girl, were killed in a road accident that took place in the early hours on Thursday near Kalvabugga of Orvakal mandal in Kurnool district. Six others suffered injured in the accident.
According to the police, a SUV proceeding towards Mydukur in Kadapa district from Hyderabad rammed into a tractor moving ahead of it at a high speed near the Kasireddinayana Ashram near Kalvabugga around 5 a.m.. Police said two families from Mydukur has gone to Hyderabad on a pleasure trip and were returning when their SUV hit the granite slab-laden tractor, killing two of the occupants instantly. The injured were shifted to government general hospital, Kurnool for treatment, where two others succumbed.
The deceased were identified as Kamal Basha (50), Munna (35), Mabu Chani (30), and three-year-old Shaik Nadia.
