Riding with 3 Kawasaki KLX 230s on my Hero Xpulse 200 4V

Riding with 3 Kawasaki KLX 230s on my Hero Xpulse 200 4V BHPian shyamg28 recently shared this with other enthusiasts: Three KLXs and just one XPulse! Not every day you see such odds. I was the odd one out, by the way. But evidently, I was the only one on a “motorcycle”. The other three were on a cycle, that happened to have a motor in there somewhere. 139 kgs for the win! In between them was BHPian ku69rd’s KLX with Excel rims as well, and that difference in unsprung mass translates almost immediately to the ease of steering and flick-ability. The steering geometry itself is much tighter, with a much smaller rake & trail compared to the XPulse 200. Sitting back on the XPulse was a hard thing to do. It’s a great bike, don’t get me wrong. The KLX is 1 of 1. Should you get one if you already have an XPulse? I don’t know – but I have a dealer quote and calculator open at home! I love that the rear shock is protected from some mud-splatter like this. Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
