Skoda has announced that prices of its SUVs will be slashed by up to Rs 3.28 lakh from September 22, following the GST 2.0 rollout. Skoda’s flagship offering, the Kodiaq, gets the highest benefit of Rs 3.28 lakh, while its entry-level model, the Kylaq, will see a price cut of up to Rs 1.19 lakh. The prices of the Kushaq will also be reduced by Rs 65,828. It is not just SUVs that will get affordable, but the Slavia sedan will also see a price cut of Rs 63,207. Under GST 2.0, small cars (vehicles under 4 meters with petrol engines under 1,200cc / diesel engines under 1,500cc) will see a price cut as the GST rate has been reduced from 28% to 18%.
