The movie was initially planned for Diwali release but then due to the delay in satellite and OTT rights deals, the makers have had to wait till they close one. Now, the latest is that it could release for April or May in 2026, if Netflix deal is closed in time.
With such delays, fans of Suriya are hurt and they are stating that the actor’s career has ended unofficially. They are worried that general audiences would not be interested to watch his movies after such delays. They are hoping that he would chose better scripts and change the direction of his career.
