The Hawaii Hilo and Chaminade women’s volleyball teams won matches Saturday at the Aloha State Showdown.
Isabella Hadaller had 17 kills and Alohi Garcia added 13 as Hawaii Hilo beat Florida Tech 26-24, 23-25, 25-14, 25-17 at McCabe Gym.
Malu Garcia contributed 10 kills and Emerson Reinke recorded 46 assists for the Vulcans.
The Silverswords split a pair at McCabe Gym.
Reina Krueger and Lillie Hinton finished with nine kills apiece, and Lilinoe Paschoal had 18 assists in No. 24 Chaminade’s 25-27, 25-12, 25-21, 25-11 victory over UC Merced.
In the Silverswords’ first match, Audrah Johnson had 10 kills, Paschoal recorded 21 assists and Sina Bauer finished with 21 digs in Chaminade’s 24-26, 25-18, 27-25, 25-16 loss to Florida Tech.

Hawaii Pacific lost both its matches at St. Francis’ Shark Tank.
Kate Allan finished with seven kills, and Jordyn McCutcheon added 12 assists and two aces in Hawaii Pacific’s 25-15, 25-15, 25-14 loss to Central Washington
In the Sharks’ second match, Allan had 10 kills and McCutcheon recorded 12 assists in Hawaii Pacific’s 25-14, 25-19, 25-22 defeat to Western Washington.
The Vulcans improved to 7-5, the Silverswords moved to 4-7 and the Sharks fell to 3-7.
