The primary objective of this analysis is to evaluate how these elected representatives have engaged with their legislative responsibilities over the course of the specified period.“Democracy is strongest when citizens can see, measure, and question how their leaders perform beyond elections. That is why we publish these reports—to make Parliament’s functioning transparent and participatory. Andhra Pradesh stands out with MPs asking far more questions than the national average, while Telangana shows commendable attendance but scope to deepen debate culture. These insights are not about criticism—they are about building a culture where diligence is celebrated and accountability is expected. Only then can democracy truly belong to the people.”Key national insightsKerala leads the overall rankings with a score of 176, followed by Maharashtra (171), Rajasthan (164), Tamil Nadu (153), and Andhra Pradesh (143).
