Tata Motor’s top-selling Punch sub-4 metre SUV is set for a 2025 facelift. While Tata hasn’t officially revealed details of the updated model, multiple spy shots of test mules and speculations give a clear ideal of what we can expect. The new 2025 Tata Punch facelift will receive subtle exterior updates along with a few interior and tech upgrades. Punch EV-Inspired Design
Noticeable changes are expected on the front fascia. The new Tata Punch is likely to feature a revised grille, slightly tweaked bumper and redesigned headlamps. Some design elements could be borrowed from the Punch EV.
The side profile will remain largely unchanged, expect for newly-designed alloy wheels. Recently, one of its test mules was spotted featuring dual parking sensors at the rear and a 360-degree camera. At the rear end, the updated Punch will feature LED taillamps inspired by the Altroz, and revised tailgate design.
New Features & More
Subtle upgrades are expected inside the cabin. The new 2025 Tata Punch facelift will feature a new two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, similar to the Altroz. The compact SUV might get ventilated front seats, an 8-speaker music system, blind sport monitor, and 6 airbags as standard. The instrument cluster and climate control panel might also be updated, while the rest of the cabin layout and features will remain unchanged.
Same Petrol & CNG Engines
Under the hood, the new Tata Punch 2025 will continue to feature the existing 1.2L, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, generating a maximum power of 87bhp and 115Nm of torque. The Punch CNG with twin-cylinder technology will deliver power worth 73.5bhp and 103Nm of torque. The petrol version will be available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox, while the CNG model will be offered with a manual gearbox only.
