MLC Chintapandu Naveen Kumar, popularly known as teenmar mallanna, has been a new political outfit, the Telangana Rajyadhikara Party (TRP) Wednesday.
The party’s launch coincides with Telangana Merger Day, September 17, a day he believes marks a turning point for the BC community. The TRP’s vision is to achieve ‘Samajika Telangana’, or People’s Telangana, for the uplift of marginalized communities. And the party’s slogan is ‘Self-respect- Power -Share’.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the TRP is a response to the long-standing neglect of BCs in State politics and would fight for their rightful share in politics and other streams.
MLC Mallanna, a popular YouTuber, was suspended from the Congress in March for alleged anti-party activities after criticising and burning the caste survey report released by the State government. He joined the Congress in November 2023 ahead of the Telangana Assembly elections. Several BC intellectuals and former bureaucrats attended the event held in a hotel.
