Vijayawada: The Maritime Energy Heli Air Services Pvt Ltd seaplane company expressed its interest in operating seaplane services on as many as 32 routes in Andhra Pradesh, in addition to establishing a seaplane manufacturing unit in the state. In this regard, the MEHAIR representatives on Thursday met with the infrastructure and investments minister, BC Janardhan Reddy, in his chamber at the state secretariat and discussed their plans to expand their seaplane services in AP.On the occasion, Janardhan Reddy responded positively to the MEHAIR representatives’ proposals and assured them of full support on behalf of the AP govt. He asked the representatives to come up with detailed reports. The minister also explained the wide range of opportunities available for the MEHAIR firm and the conducive environment created by the state govt under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for launching seaplane services to develop tourism and connectivity to rural areas in the state.
