The second week of Bayside Conference fall high school sports took place last week, and it was a big one across multiple sports. And the Delmarva Now Athlete of the Week goes to a high school football player who made a big impact in James M. Bennett’s first victory of the season last week.

James M. Bennett’s Marcus White is the Delmarva Now Athlete of the Week for Sept. 8-14. White caught a touchdown pass, had a rushing touchdown and caught an interception in their victory over Cambridge-South Dorchester last week. White won the poll with 42% of the vote.

Coming in second place in the poll was Holly Grove Christian Boys Soccer player Logan Widdowson, who scored two goals in their win over Laurel, and scored three goals and had an assist in their win over Calvary Christian Academy.
