Hyderabad: A disturbing incident at a junior college in Hyderabad has sparked outrage after an intermediate student was left with a fractured jaw, allegedly following an assault by a staff member.

The incident took place on 15 September at Narayana Junior College when the college’s floor in-charge, identified as Satish, reportedly intervened in a verbal spat between two students. According to reports, instead of diffusing the situation, Satish allegedly lost his temper and thrashed the students.

One of the students, Sai Puneeth, sustained a severe jaw fracture as a result of the assault and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Shocked by the incident, the student’s parents complained to the police. Based on the complaint, a case has been registered against Satish.

The assault has triggered serious concern among students and parents, with many questioning the safety standards and management practices at the college.

The matter has also reignited discussions about the responsibility of educational institutions to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of their students.
