Vijayawada: S Bharani took charge as the new Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) vice-chairman and Managing Director at the SAAP headquarters on Friday. The 2020 batch IFS officer, who was working as Chittoor DFO, was transferred, and her services were placed at the disposal of the YAT&C Department to post her as Managing Director, SAAP. On the occasion, SAAP administrative officer Ramavath Venkataramana Naik and SAAP officers congratulated Bharani on assuming charge as the new SAAP chairman.
