The Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Hyderabad 2025 commenced at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), bringing together a vibrant mix of destinations, innovative travel packages, and global Destination Management Companies. With participation from 150+ exhibitors representing more than 10 Indian states and UTs, along with tourism boards and private sector leaders from over 5 countries, the event has been positioned as a leading B2B platform for pre-festive travel trade opportunities.

This edition of TTF Hyderabad is attracting the attention of 4,000+ travel professionals from across India and abroad, offering them a timely chance to connect, collaborate, and secure new partnerships ahead of the festive and winter holiday season. As South India’s most significant travel marketplace, the fair is playing a pivotal role in enabling networking, product showcasing, and business development for tourism stakeholders.

Inauguration and Dignitaries

The formal inauguration of TTF Hyderabad 2025 was carried out in the presence of prominent leaders. The Chief Guest of the event, Jupally Krishna Rao, Minister for Prohibition & Excise, Tourism & Culture, and Archaeology, Government of Telangana, highlighted the government’s vision for developing tourism infrastructure in the state. Valluru Kranthi, Director and Managing Director of the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor.

The ceremony also witnessed the participation of travel industry leaders, representatives from leading associations, and members of the media, further underlining the significance of this event for India’s travel sector.

Government Vision for Telangana Tourism

During the inauguration, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao unveiled that a special action plan has been designed to develop new tourist destinations across Telangana under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. As part of this initiative, a high-level tourism conclave will soon be organized in Telangana to strengthen investments, partnerships, and strategic discussions in the tourism space.

The Minister emphasized that tourism should not be viewed merely as a leisure pursuit but as a catalyst for employment generation, infrastructure expansion, and investment opportunities. The recently introduced new tourism policy of Telangana has been tailored to foster an environment conducive to investments while encouraging young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas to enter the industry.

Telangana, the Minister noted, already possesses diverse natural and cultural resources required to build world-class tourism. However, the shortfall lies in its promotion and branding, where partnerships with stakeholders from the tourism and hospitality sector will be critical.

Celebration of Bathukamma Festival at TTF

As the host state, Telangana Tourism marked the occasion by launching a statewide celebration of the Bathukamma Festival, one of the most culturally vibrant events of the region. A curtain raiser was held at TTF Hyderabad, while the festivities are scheduled to take place from September 21 to 30 across Telangana. The celebration will begin at the iconic 1,000-Pillar Temple in Warangal, offering visitors and exhibitors a chance to witness the cultural richness of the state.

The Minister encouraged attendees and trade representatives to actively participate in the festival, describing it as an opportunity to promote Telangana’s unique heritage on a global stage.

Wide Representation of State Tourism Boards and Private Exhibitors

The exhibition floor at TTF Hyderabad 2025 showcases a dynamic mix of state tourism boards and private players. Among the states represented are Telangana, Goa, Karnataka, Jammu & Kashmir, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, and Meghalaya, among others. Each state is highlighting its own cultural strengths, tourism packages, and investment-friendly initiatives.

In addition to government pavilions, leading private exhibitors are playing an equally strong role. Notable participants include Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Limited, IRCTC, Cruise Carrot, Dynasty Holidays Pvt Ltd, Quality Inn Rama Ayodhya, Estrela Do Mar Beach Resort, Marigold Regency Hotels Pvt Ltd, Purple Palms Resort & Spa Coorg, Wild Planet Resort, U2 Travels, Virya Wildlife Tours, and Trip Forever Tourism. These exhibitors are presenting a wide range of offerings including luxury resorts, adventure travel, pilgrimage tourism, wildlife experiences, and curated holiday packages.

Strategic Significance of Hyderabad

Sanjiv Agarwal, Chairman and CEO of Fairfest Media Ltd., the organizer of TTF, highlighted Hyderabad’s growing significance as a hub for domestic and outbound travel. With 150+ exhibitors and over 4,000 trade visitors expected to engage during the two-day event, TTF Hyderabad is being positioned as an essential platform for South India’s travel sector.

Hyderabad has been gaining prominence in India’s tourism ecosystem due to its strong cultural heritage, robust infrastructure, and expanding international air connectivity through Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. This combination makes the city a natural choice for hosting large-scale tourism trade events, helping stakeholders to access both domestic and global markets more effectively.

Networking and Business Opportunities

The design of TTF Hyderabad 2025 emphasizes high-impact networking sessions, business meetings, and opportunities for new partnerships. By arriving just ahead of the festive and winter holiday season, the event has been timed strategically to help tourism boards, travel agents, and hospitality brands maximize demand during peak travel periods.

The fair is also enabling discussions around investment opportunities in Telangana’s tourism sector, encouraging collaboration between government and private enterprises. These engagements are expected to open avenues for not just leisure tourism but also cultural tourism, eco-tourism, and adventure tourism.

Positioning TTF Hyderabad 2025 in the National Tourism Landscape

Through its comprehensive programming and global participation, TTF Hyderabad 2025 is reinforcing Hyderabad’s position as a strategic hub for India’s tourism trade. The blend of state representation, global exhibitors, and local cultural showcases ensures that the event delivers both business outcomes and cultural exposure.

With the involvement of senior policymakers, large-scale exhibitors, and international tourism partners, TTF Hyderabad 2025 is not only shaping immediate business prospects but also contributing to the long-term vision of making Telangana a prominent player in the tourism industry.
