UK Deputy High Commissioner to attend Educational Pavilion in Vijayawada

An Educational Pavilion is being organised as part of the Vijayawada Utsav at the Gollapudi Expo to provide students with information on educational opportunities in India and abroad.

Scheduled to be organised from September 22 to November 16, the programme will feature stalls from reputed universities across India, the U.S.A., the U.K., and other countries.

“The pavilion aims to guide students and parents on the courses available, future career opportunities, and admission processes. Each day, events and competitions will be held to enhance students’ knowledge, with prizes being awarded to winners,” Vijayawada Utsav committee member Anil Sunka said on Thursday. 

UK Deputy High Commissioner for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Gareth Wyn Owen, will attend the programme as the chief guest. He is expected to speak on educational opportunities in the U.K. and prospects in the Telugu States.

Vijayawada Utsav Committee members highlighted that top engineering, medical, and general education colleges would participate. They will share insights on new-age domains like Artificial Intelligence and data science. The organisers said that the pavilion will not only inform but also help students to make informed career choices.
