BHPian tsi_niks1989 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:3 years, 33,500 km Update, Virtus GT PlusThe GT celebrated its 3rd birthday on 9th Sep with a memorable 33,000 KMs on the ODO. I got the 3rd annual service done on 1st Sep with the car running close to 10k KMs in the last one year. Service experience was uneventful, the appointment was booked almost a month back and the car was delivered the same day. Shoutout to VW Hadapsar, Pune, for handling the car as requested and not pushing for any addons, which is the norm nowadays. Total service bill was INR 0 for the third year in a row; the decision to take SVP has really been helpful. I was asked for wheel alignment and balancing to be done, which I refused politely. After more than 36 months, the battery seems to be working fine, although the battery test done seems to show that currently it’s working at 60% capacity. Will plan to change the battery by Feb 2026 when I take the GT for a routine 6-month inspection. Tires are also fine but I will be changing them next year when they reach 40k KMs. Regarding the car, the experience has been really pleasant. It is still a head-turner all thanks to the design language VW follows; random folks have appreciated the clean lines and looks of the car many times. The Turtle Wax ceramic coat might be a reason as well, the car still looks like it is just a few months old. We did a 4200 KM trip to Joshimath from Pune last year December, and it was a beautiful experience with the car returning 18.1 KMPL mileage in total, absolutely stunning given the power and torque on offer. Weather in Pune is mostly nice, so never experienced issues with the AC, it does the job fine. Rest everything feels good and solid as a VW. I upgraded from a 10-year-old Polo TDI to this, and the experience could not have been better. It has been a perfect upgrade for us and hopefully will continue as is. Given a chance today with so many options from Petrol, Diesel and EVs under 25L, I would still go for the Virtus GT Plus Sport Black. I guess that sums up my experience with the GT till now.
