Actress Ameesha Patel, who recently turned 50, continues to remain single despite being one of the most popular stars across Bollywood, Tollywood, and Kollywood, with several blockbusters to her credit including “Badri” and Naani” in Telugu, and “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai” and “Gadar” franchise.
In a recent interview, she candidly shared why she chose not to marry. With a touch of humor, she revealed that men in their 20s have started sending her marriage proposals after she crossed 50.
The actress also disclosed a heartfelt secret—she has been supporting several underprivileged children by paying their school fees. “It’s almost like I have adopted them,” Ameesha said, adding that she fulfills her sense of motherhood by helping these children pursue education.
Despite her single status, Ameesha says she doesn’t feel like an “aunty,” remains young at heart, and doesn’t completely rule out marriage in the future.
