Striving to steer State on path of progress despite financial constraints: Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that the ‘Praja government’ is striving relentlessly to bring the State economy, ruined by the 10-year misrule of the BRS government, back on track, and steer the State on the path of progress.

He was addressing a public meeting held in Mudigonda of Khammam district on Monday night. A host of local leaders and cadres of BRS joined the Congress in the presence of Mr. Vikramarka on the occasion, sources said.

He said, “Impressed by the development endeavour and welfare initiatives of the Congress government, scores of cadres and elected public representatives of the BRS are joining the Congress across the State.”

He alleged that the financial system and governance were destroyed and the State was mortagaged to serve the family’s needs during the nearly decade-long rule of the BRS dispensation.

Listing out the flagship schemes of the Congress government, he said, “The people’s government is steadfastly striving for all round development of the State and welfare of all with a pragmatic approach.”
