My 2025 Mahindra XUV 3XO: Speccing the car to my taste

My 2025 Mahindra XUV 3XO: Speccing the car to my taste BHPian chappalchor33 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:Removing And Fitting New AccessoriesLadies and Gentlemen, here is my 2025 XUV 3XO REVX M Foregoing the story of its procurement, which the site’s machine spirit deemed too long, I’ll mention one thing: I made the mistake of letting my dad spec the car after carefully selecting the variant so that:- I would have no alloys (heh) I would have no ADAS I would have no Sunroof I would have cloth seats. The REVX M was a 3 for 4, as it still had leatherette seats. Oh well. However, dad went to finalize the car and took its delivery. In true UP32 fashion, dad specced the car with his “superior bargaining skills”. So when I went to the car after an agonizingly slow day at work, I got…this (excuse the image quality, the dealer sent me these and I had to crop to get rid of PII). Some variety of sound escaped from the back of my throat. Dad and Mom smugly thought it was perhaps the sound of undying gratitude (They bought this as a gift for me landing a cushy job in the hometown). The only thing I could think of is whether the dealer would take the chrome kit, bumper guard, and the rain visors back if I asked nicely. A month later (almost), when the first cheque from work cleared, I went raiding the mahindra accessories catalogue for a pair of accessories: Fog Lamps: And a JBL “audio upgrade” kit that replaces the 4 stock speakers with JBL’s 4 speaker set: Next up? First service. Got the chrome ripped out. All of it. Next line items in the list? – Advantec Spyder 16×7 forged wheels – 3XO MX3’s head unit (and the OEM amp if I can massage the works manager for it) – Cloth seat swap (I’m tired of swamp…butt?)Continue reading BHPian Chappalchor’s post for more insights and information.
