Left my laptop bag at Bengaluru airport bus bay: Here’s how It ended

Left my laptop bag at Bengaluru airport bus bay: Here’s how It ended BHPian fordday recently shared this with other enthusiasts: I had a scare earlier this week. Landed on T2 runway and then taxied to T1. It was held for more than 15 minutes in the taxiway as the platform was blocked by another Akasa plane that landed before us. We had to move zigzag across several belts before reaching our belt no. 3. And it was against the passenger flow from other belts, which caused several ‘near misses ‘ on the road. I usually take the BMTC bus when alone. Went to the bus bay and waited for more than 15 minutes for the one for our route. While waiting, I took a seat next to a BMTC official, B1, and kept my laptop bag in the next empty seat and my suitcase in front of me. Enquired with B1 about the lack of buses on my route, he said it could be that traffic is much heavier, being a Monday evening. The bus started slowly, took the turns to reach T2. While on the T2 platform, I suddenly realized to my horror that my laptop bag was not with me. Got down there and took the elevator to ground level. A senior BMTC official, B2, was standing right in front of the elevator, guiding passengers to the BMTC platforms. I explained to him about my need to go to T1 BMTC platform. I was speaking in a worried tone. He calmly held my arm and said not to worry. Directed me to take the shuttle to T1. Took the shuttle and reached T1, and there my laptop bag was lying in that seat. Seeing that I am back, B1 was surprised. When I explained, he said it’s okay. Nothing will ever get stolen from here. Loved how we are evolving towards a high-trust society one step at a time.
