Lions WR Williams on his approach to game when not getting the ball
Williams said that he’s focused more on winning than catches, and that there are so many stars on the Lions for the ball to go to.
The Detroit Lions grinded out a 34-10 win over the Cleveland Browns at Ford Field in Detroit on Sunday, Sept. 28, in Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season.
Kalif Raymond scored on a 65-yard punt return touchdown early in the fourth quarter to give the Lions a 27-10 lead, and Jahmyr Gibbs (8-yard run) and Amon-Ra St. Brown (2-yard catch) had first-half touchdowns.
St. Brown also caught an 8-yard touchdown from Jared Goff late in the fourth quarter for Brown’s fifth score in two games.
The Lions (3-1) have won three straight after dropping the season opener in Green Bay.
The defense did its job against a poor Browns (1-3) offense, with Kerby Joseph and D.J. Reed intercepting Joe Flacco, and Aidan Hutchinson registering two sacks, a forced fumble and nine quarterback pressures, according to the Fox TV broadcast.
But the Lions lost their starting cornerbacks, Reed and Terrion Arnold, to injuries.
The Lions will visit the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5 next Sunday (4:25 p.m., Fox). The Bengals (1-2) will be on short rest, as they play on Monday Night Football to finish Week 4 at the Denver Broncos (8:15 p.m., ABC).
