He cautioned the people against conspiracies being hatched against the Government and the Future City. “People are alleging that I am developing the Future City as I have lands here,” he said adding the upcoming Future City was not for himself or his family, but the for the well being of generations to come.

Asserting that the Government planned to develop the upcoming new city on a par with global standards, he sought the cooperation of the people in the progress of the planned development. The Government was prepared to resolve minor irritants if any and was firm on liberally helping them. The Chief Minister said he himself would be in the forefront to resolve the problems if any and advised the people not to get trapped in the designs of the political parties and approach courts.

He directed the officials to resolve the issues whatever brought to their notice by the people and affirmed that his Government was committed to doing justice to all.

Explaining the salient features that would be incorporated into the Future City, he said the city would have underground power cables and a greenfield highway connecting Future City with Machilipatnam port had been proposed.

The Government had proposed to develop a dry port between Machilipatnam and Future City as Telangana was devoid of ports while the Central Government had agreed for the proposal to operate bullet train between Future City and Amaravati, the capital of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.

The objective of the Government in developing the new city was to ensure that the offices of the Fortune 500 companies were located in the Future City. The FCDA building and the Skill University would be completed by December and the Government would soon start functioning from the Future City at least thrice a month.

“I will hold meetings with global investors who express interest in investing in Telangana at the FCDA building. My aim is to bring the world to the Future City,” he said. The Chief Minister recalled that the foundation stone for Hyderabad was laid by Quli Qutb Shah and Secunderabad was developed under the Nizams’ rule. Subsequently, Cyberabad and Silicon Valley were developed in the erstwhile united State.

The Chief Minister directed his Deputy Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka to allot 10-acre land for the corporate office of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited and take steps to see that the SCCL’s corporate office was completed by December next year.
