While I am L1 & L2 Certified already, I am also eligible to do Open sessions. It had been 2 years since my last track outing, and it was on a different track with a non supersport bike. So as not to be a hindrance to others and myself, so I decided to do a refresher on L1 and then subsequently enjoy the Open sessions safely from that point onwards. Now that the bike brakes have been overhauled, and Oh, I forgot to mention, I did a fresh oil change and basic service even though the bike still has 1000 kms more before its actual service time. Anyways, I was not going alone, @wolfy was accompanying me, along with his brother, with his RepsolBlade and his Striple 765. I headed out to @wolfy’s place to prep the bikes for track, which included removing the mirrors and rear fenders and taping out the headlights. The transport to the track was arranged, and all 4 bikes were picked up from there. A cool graffiti spot I spotted on the way All ready for the track Had bought 4 fender bolts from Honda and 4 washers and nuts to do the makeshift job of mirror blockoffs on the R1. A quick rattlecan paint job to make them a bit more stealthy For a power packed lineup being sent to track decided to take a power packed car for transporting duty for the riders.
