‘India First – the untold story of Narendra ModI’ cultural event today


Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, former Governors Ch. Vidyasagar Rao and Bandaru Dattatreya, Union Minister for Railways & IT Ashwini Vaishnaw and other prominent personalities will be taking part in the cultural extravaganza ‘India First – the untold story of Narendra Modi’ being held to commemorate the Prime Minister’s 75th birthday will be held at the Hitex Kondapur on September 30 (Tuesday) evening.

The cultural programme includes a theatre play, music, dance and photo vignettes of Mr. Modi’s life which was earlier held in Mumbai and is being held in four other places, informed Union Minister of Coal & Mines G. Kishan Reddy and BJP Telangana chief N. Ramchander Rao on Monday.

Talking to the media at the venue, the party leaders claimed that the event is not a party event but a strictly ‘voluntary’ programme so everyone was welcome to attend. Already invites have been extended to prominent personalities of the twin cities from different walks of life to attend the programme.

Matinee idol Chiranjeevi, Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar, current and ex-MPs and MLAs of the party will also be present for the scheduled two-hour programme, they said. The party leaders said the Prime Minister’s life story and political career should serve as an inspiration to the youth as he had hailed from humble origins. The scheduled programme is an effort to present his 24 years of political life in an engaging manner.
