Hyderabad: Telangana assembly speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar will hear the versions of four of the 10 turncoat MLAs, who had joined the Congress after winning the assembly elections on the BRS tickets, on Monday and Wednesday.The hearing will be conducted from 11am to 4pm on Monday, including the possibility of cross-examination of petitioners and respondents. The remaining six turncoats are expected to be summoned for hearing by the speaker after the Dasara festival.T Prakash Goud (Rajendranagar), Kale Yadaiah (Chevella), Gudem Mahipal Reddy (Patancheru) and Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy (Jogulamba Gadwal) are the turncoat legislators set to appear for the hearing. They have maintained that they did not join Congress and are still in the BRS party. They have been saying that they met chief minister A Revanth Reddy in connection with development works in their constituencies respectively.The Supreme Court had directed the speaker to take action on the disqualification petitions within three months, which is by October-end.
