The Raja Saab Trailer: Prabhas in Psychological Thriller

Prabhas has grown into a huge Pan-India Star post Baahubali films. His Saaho became a hit in Hindi markets and Salaar, Kalki became his biggest hits. Kalki 2898 AD collected huge Rs.1100 crores gross worldwide and his next film, The Raja Saab, has been in production from a long time.

From year end of 2023, the movie has been shot till mid-2025 and VFX took time to complete. Now, the makers have confirmed the release of the film with a theatrical trailer. The Raja Saab is releasing on 9th January, 2026 and the trailer showcases how the movie is a psychological thriller.

With huge VFX shots, the film tries to take the psychological trauma to another level. Each frame has been crafted with great detailing to showcase how people get affected psychologically at a place that triggers inner fears. The Raja Saab seems like it revolves around a mansion that is haunted.

But actually has been cleverly conceptualised by an aged man. Prabhas takes over the old man’s charge and it looks intriguing. Director Maruthi Dasari is directing it and TG Vishwa Prasad, Krithi Prasad are producing the film. Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Zarina Wahab, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani are playing prominent roles in the movie.

The trailer presents Prabhas in a new look from his previous intense roles. He is at ease in funny scenes but the concept can confuse many. Is Sanjay Dutt, a figment of imagination or real? Why Prabhas romanced with three leading ladies? These questions will be answered in the theatres, only, say the makers.
