Suzuki Access acting weird: Good mileage and power, but fails at idle

Suzuki Access acting weird: Good mileage and power, but fails at idle BHPian JDMBOI recently shared this with other enthusiasts:Problems in my 2012 Access due to E20 fuelManufactured in 2012 Emission- Bharat Stage 3. Odometer – 39,810.The problems are 1- Difficulty in starting during the winter season. 2- Unable to maintain idle after startup & if you fail to keep the engine running (by blipping the throttle), then the chances of restarting start reducing after each failed start. 3- Randomly shuts down and won’t start for a few minutes, no matter what you do, use choke, kick or self-start. Happened three times in July, which is a new addition to the problems list. 4- The Engine shuts off if you close the throttle (during bumper-to-bumper traffic) and now it’s happening more frequently. 5- The engine doesn’t like being below 15 KMPH; it jerks. Sometimes it’s less, and sometimes like a 4.1 magnitude earthquake. I have to keep changing my throttle input to go past 15 KMPH.Weird points I noticed1- Fortunately, no mileage drop- Consistently getting 40+ in the city, and that’s what I used to get even before ethanol blending. 2- No drop in performance – It rips like it used to, but only after going above 20 KMPH. Below that, the engine is asking for mercy. 3- The problem exacerbates after getting service done (new engine oil, filter), and it keeps on reducing as you cover more kilometers. I have been noticing that for past 3-4 services as I would expect smooth performance after service but it’s completely opposite and I would question myself why did I get it serviced as it was running way better before service. 4- It doesn’t starts easily with kick in the morning, you have to use it 4-10 times, whereas it starts right up with self self-start. Once the engine is warm, then only one kick is enough. Even though only 2 years of its life left.I am thinking of doing these- 1- Use engine flush. 2- Use petrol additive. 3- Cleaning the carburetor. 4- Clean fuel tank (maybe). 5- Try using XP95 and see if it makes any improvement, even though it has the same percentage of ethanol as normal petrol.
