I have most of it in my Nexon Max and XEV 9E now. I have segregated into 5 categoriesVery importantNecessaryGood to HaveLuxuryCosmeticsWhile the above list may vary person to person, it adds up to the value for the car that you are using. Its also applicable to ICE Cars as well but the requirement may vary.Very ImportantA) PPFPPF is a protective film applied to the exterior of the car to protect the paint from:Scratches and stone chips during driving.Environmental contaminants like bird droppings, and pollution.Swirl marks when the cleaner cleans the car with either borewell water or hard waterFor EVs, maintaining the aesthetic appeal is crucial – especially since resale value can be influenced by exterior condition. There are many detailing shops available. So, one needs to be careful in picking the right shop since it is costly investment. Another alternate is ceramic coating which is good for a short-term basis. Disclaimer – One thing to note that PPF in no way provides protection against dents. Attached is the pic of my XEV 9E which i had recently done PPF. B) Mud FlapsPrevent dirt, mud, and debris from splashing onto the car body and undercarriage.Protect sensitive EV components, like battery enclosures and wiring, from grime and moisture.Reduce corrosion risk, especially in monsoon-prone areas.They’re effective way to extend the life of your EV’s lower body and maintain cleanliness. C) Car seat coverSeat covers are essential for:Protecting original upholstery from wear, spills, and stains.Enhancing comfort with materials suited to climate (e.g., breathable fabrics for hot weather).Maintaining resale value by keeping interiors fresh and damage-free.EVs often come with premium interiors, and seat covers help preserve that luxury feel.
