BHPian arun_josie recently shared this with other enthusiasts: ODO @ 1,88,000 Km Water in the tail lamp: Noticed some moisture inside the rear tail-lamp for a while now, but recently it got worse, I could actually see water collected inside. Took the car to the service center, and upon inspection, they found a small gap along the top border of the tail lamp. As a temporary fix, they removed the water and applied some sealant over the gap. Will observe this for a few days to see if the issue reappears. If it persists, I will get the taillamp replaced. The cost is around 11K. Bangalore – Coimbatore (Via Dhimbham) The pictures below were taken during a drive to Coimbatore via Kanakapura – Malavalli – Kollegala – Chamarajanagar – Dhimbham – Bhavanisagar – Coimbatore. This route is a great alternative to the Krishnagiri – Salem route. The road condition is good throughout, and traffic remains light until Dhimbham. Also, almost every town has a bypass road now. Overall, it took me around 5 hours and 15 minutes. The only challenge is the ghat section, where you’ll need a bit of luck to avoid random truck breakdowns or accidents, as these can lead to traffic jams and delays. Another challenge is the lack of good options for food and restrooms along the way. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful and enjoyable route to drive.
