Been about 2.5 months and ~3000KMs. If I had to summarize the review in very short, TLDR: Love! The car is a beautiful beast. I got the retrieving side stepper, the Meridan surround upgrade, a domestic power socket, a refrigerator and a bunch of other mods. It was a ready spec. They offered a custom spec but the wait period was 8 months according to them and like a year as per my research. I am in love with this car. Only other car that comes remotely close to the self-drive experience in my life has been a Skoda Laura (1.8 TSI). 0-100 in 5.2 seconds. Floor it and you are glued to the seat. Only other car in which I’ve experienced such forces is the Tesla Model S. Comparing an electric car with a petrol and the criteria in question being pick up in itself, speaks about how the car feels. 2+ tonnes of metal reaching 100 KMPH in 5.2 seconds feels monstrous (It really is). If you are considering buying this car, I would suggest going ahead, no questions asked. You will not regret it. I get told this a lot, “If you buy a car worth 2 Cr, don’t think about fuel economy”, but I must admit sometimes it really hurts. Of course, the car has power-saving green options like auto engine stop, but the Mumbai heat kind of renders this option unworthy. The sheer amount of joy the car brings me cannot be quantified. Every single resource that went into making this self-driving experience so flawlessly beautiful is worth it. Other than that, right now I’m based out of Suburban Mumbai (Andheri – Juhu) and sometimes the roads can be a hassle. The car is massive, so parking and stuff in small by lanes of Andheri, Irla etc (and sometimes, navigating) is a challenge. Sometimes I think I should have gone with the Defender 90 – esp considering where I stay. But the 110 beats it on practicality. Overall, it’s a very practical car, has a lovely road presence, and the self-drive experience is sublime. Last, I’ll repeat myself once again, if you are thinking of buying this car, “Just do it”!Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
