Results and group standings for each group at the U20 World Cup

The second matchday of the group stage of the U20 World Cup wrapped up on Thursday night with the matches from Groups E and F.
After defeating Spain (2-0), Morocco followed up with a hard-fought win over Brazil (2-1), sealing their place in the round of 16. Japan, Argentina, and the United States also maintained perfect records with two wins from two matches.
While Egypt suffered another defeat, this time at the hands of New Zealand (1-2), Nigeria and South Africa bounced back by overcoming Saudi Arabia (3-2) and New Caledonia (5-0) respectively.
