Parts of Hyderabad witnessed brief spells of rainfall on Saturday (October 4, 2025) afternoon, offering slight relief from the continued muggy weather that has gripped the city for the past week.

According to Data from Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), as of 3 PM, Khairatabad Recorded a RainFalll of 11.5 m followed by 11 mm in malakpet, 8.8 mm in banjara hills, 8.3 mm in nagole, 8 PM in Bandlaguda, Karwan, 6.8 mm in faalaknuma, 6.5 mm in shaikpet, 6.5 mm in charminar and 6 mm in Goshamahal.

Meanwhile, the India Metrological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm warning for Sunday (October 5, 2025). “Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in all 33 districts of the State,” as per the IMD bulletin.

Meanwhile, there will be partly cloudy sky over Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in the city. Hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 32 and 23 respectively,” as per the bulletin.
