The State government is taking the scheduled visit and public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Kurnool on October 16 prestigiously and is leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand success.
A host of Cabinet Ministers, including Payyavula Keshav, Anagani Satya Prasad, T.G. Bharath, and B.C. Janardhan Reddy, along with the Collectors, Superintendents of Police, and elected representatives of the erstwhile Kurnool district held a meeting in the State Guest House at Kurnool on Monday to make the meeting a success.
The Ministers asked officials to make adequate arrangements at the venue and also provide buses for the meeting. The Roads and Buildings and Panchayat Raj Departments were asked to provide road connectivity to the venue. Later, the Ministers and officials visited Guttapadu, Ragamayuri, and Nannur toll plaza to identify a suitable place for holding the public meeting.
Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav said the GST reforms had led to fall in prices of essential commodities and each and every family in the State and the country are benefitted with it. To explain about the benefits of the reforms, the meeting is being held, he said.
